Your bundle of joy has finally arrived!!!  Congratulations for making it through the journey of becoming a mommy.  I know by now you realize that your baby was well worth the wait.  This would be the perfect time to start bonding with your baby.  It is important to interact with your baby by talking, touching, and supporting him/her.  By developing a bond, you are letting your baby know that you are there and are supportive.  This will help them for years to come with developing appropriate social skills-as well as developing appropriate friendships and attachments later in life.  Also remember that talking to your baby helps them to develop their language skills.  So keep talking to your little one-although you may think that they just don't understand.
